Where to even begin?!

Maddie and Blake are from Texas and they reached out to me saying that they were working with Colorado Micro Weddings, a company that helps couples plan intimate weddings and elopements. Thank goodness I was available on their elopement date because, after talking more with Maddie, I knew I had to photograph this sweet couple!

As we were leading up the the elopement, I was getting to worried about the terrible smoke and bad visibility we had been having here in Colorado. But, on August 24th, the smoke cleared and we ended up having the most beautiful, clear day! Maddie and Blake’s elopement was so special and so personal - from writing their own vows, to the personalized ceremony, to utilizing heirlooms from Maddie’s grandmother… everything had meaning and purpose. And it was beautiful to witness.
